Changes to the API, the widget and the SDKs, newest first. OptProof is in pre-launch: things may still change before general availability, and breaking changes will be announced here first.

Unreleased#

• Public documentation site, with an API reference generated from the same contracts the API validates against.
• Free website readiness scanner on optproof.in.
• Connectors for Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Shopify, Google Sheets, Brevo, Mailchimp and a WhatsApp opt-out list.
• Google Consent Mode v2 signals, a Google Tag Manager template, and script and iframe blocking in the widget.

October 2026#

API#

• Server API for recording and checking consent: POST /v1/consents, POST /v1/consents/check, POST /v1/principals/link.
• Rights request endpoints for the request desk, with due dates and reminders.
• Signed webhooks with retries for about 24 hours and a replayable delivery log.
• Evidence exports: consent log CSV, chain report and evidence pack.

Ledger and receipts#

• Verification specification, hash scheme v1, with published test vectors. See Receipts and verification.
• Daily signed anchors written to write-once storage.
• Public signing keys at /.well-known/optproof-keys.json, including retired keys.

Widget#

• First version: banner, modal and slide-in layouts, inline form block, floating Privacy choices link and the JavaScript API.
• Under 15 KB gzipped, enforced on every build.

SDKs#

• @optproof/node pre-release. The interface may change before 1.0.
