Consent infrastructure for the businesses India runs on

Clinics, schools, gyms, shops and property offices collect personal data every day, often on paper or WhatsApp. OptProof gives them a simple way to ask properly, keep proof, and respect people’s choices everywhere their data goes.

Why we started

Most consent tools were built for websites and cookie banners. But a patient gives their number at reception, a parent fills an admission form, and a buyer leaves details at a site office. When the DPDP Act asks a business to show that consent was given, a banner log does not help with any of that.

We build OptProof for places where getting consent right matters a great deal, like clinics and therapy practices. The same care goes into every template we ship.

How we work

  • Proof over promises

Anyone should be able to check a consent record without taking our word for it. So we publish the method and the keys.

  • The person comes first

No pre-ticked boxes, Reject as visible as Accept, and withdrawal never harder than agreeing. We build the defaults that protect people.

  • Data stays in India

Our database, files and backups live in AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1). Proof records carry no names, numbers or emails.

  • Humans approve legal words

AI helps draft notices and replies. A person approves every one before it reaches a customer or a regulator.

  • Plain language

If a clinic receptionist cannot follow it, we rewrite it. That goes for notices, the console and this website.

  • Honest about limits

We say what we have done and what we have not. We avoid words that promise a legal outcome we cannot give.
